Lessons from Grandpa...

Ok, so it has been a while. Several of Katie's loyal followers have hinted in subtle and not-so-subtle ways that I need to update Katie's blog. The best hint came in the form of an email from Katie's grandpa (Tom's dad). I have copied it below in its entirety...

Subject: Learn from the Tortoise and the Hare

I said just a few pictures from time to time. I said don't set your standards so high that you can't maintain them. But no, You filled up Katie's blog spot like a man possessed,and now it's been two months - 1/3 of her entire life, without a single post.

I'm left here to console Grandma who is checking every day for some glimpse, even a candid shot of darling Katie. What shall I tell her to soothe her mournful soul? Is there a post in the near future?

(QUEENS, NY) AP--LOCAL BABY KATIE RICHTER WAS SHOCKED THIS MORNING UPON LEARNING THAT HER DAD HAS BEEN BLOGGING ABOUT HER. LITTLE RICHTER SAID SHE KNEW NOTHING OF THIS.
"I HAD NO IDEA THE OLD GUY HAD IT IN HIM," COMMENTED RICHTER BETWEEN SPIT-UPS. "HE'S A NICE GUY, BUT OF THE TWO PEOPLE WHO ALWAYS SEEM TO BE AROUND, I LIKE THE ONE WHO FEEDS ME. IF THE OTHER ONE WANTS TO BLOG, LET HIM--I AM JUST SHOCKED, THAT'S ALL."
